Bride of Doom is a fun arcade game developed by html5Games deviser, Robert Podgorski. It is a browser game with a unique concept. In the game, you control a fierce and brazen Viking as he passes over the deadly bridge of doom. To do so, you only need to use the left click on your mouse. Each click will move the Viking one space forward. As a challenge, you will encounter many enemies and obstacles along the way. The enemies need to be beaten for you to move forward. As for the obstacles, you only need to time your moves carefully to avoid them.
Fun but repetitive
Bridge of Doom is a one-button game that you can enjoy directly in your browser. This eliminates the need for installation, thereby saving your storage space. More so, since it only needs a browser, you can play the game anywhere. The mechanics of the game are very simple. You only need to help the Viking move past the deadly bridge of doom. The bridge is made of square blocks of stones precariously placed on top of narrow crack filled with lava. Don't worry, though, as the location of the bridge is not important. No matter where you click, the Viking will only move one space forward safely in the bridge.
The challenge lies in the spikes placed on some of the squares. You need to click fast to avoid these spikes as it can end your game. As an added challenge, the platforms behind you are constantly dropping, prompting you to move forward. You will also meet monsters along the way, but they are pretty harmless and can be beaten by clicking at your mouse until they disappear.
All in all, the Bridge of Doom is a simple but engaging clicker game. It has easy-to-understand mechanics, and even offers endless gameplay. However, the lack of hard challenges and repetitive gameplay lessen the game's replay value. It also doesn't help that the game does not offer rewards for staying in the bridge for a long duration.
